On October 24, Belarusian local time, commencement ceremony of Belarus Social Security Housing Project Phase II was held at Beijing Hotel in Minsk City. Cui Qiming, Chinese Ambassador to Belarus, Xie Zuowen, Vice General Manager of Tianjin Power Construction Co., Ltd and General Manager of Overseas Engineering Company and responsible persons of local government departments and relevant units attended the commencement ceremony.   
　　Cui Qiming delivered an ebullient speech at the commencement ceremony. He briefly reviewed the conclusion process of the social security housing project for Belarus by the leaders of China and Belarus, with emphasis on the importance of the construction of the housing project. He fully affirmed the positive role played by the construction of the first phase of the project in enhancing the friendship between the Chinese and Belarusian peoples, and put forward requirements for the construction of the Chinese aid project for Belarus, including the second phase of the social security housing project. Subsequently, Cui Qiming announced the commencement of the second phase of the Belarusian social security housing project. The scene was followed by a festival of fireworks and warm applause for a long time. The guests raised their glasses in toasts and shook hands to greet each other. In a friendly and festive atmosphere, Cui Qiming and the guests attended a song and dance performance rich in the national characteristics of China and Belarus.
