On September 24, Malaysia's Johor Project Department received a praise letter from EPC Contractor CTCI. This paper congratulates and highly commends the ahead-of-schedule completion of a series of key engineering milestones of Johor Project by TEPC, such as the completion of concrete pouring of the superstructure of the No. 1 gas turbine foundation.
　　Since the start of work in November 2017, all the staff of the Johor project department has been working hard to overcome challenges, such as high temperature and heat, long rainy season, narrow operation site, etc. The concrete pouring of No. 2 gas turbine foundation bed plate and the concrete construction of No. 1 gas turbine foundation superstructure were completed respectively on August 21, 2018, and September 23, 2018 before the planned construction period, which laid a solid foundation for the smooth progress of the whole project in the later stage. CTCI hopes that all members of the Johor project department will continue to work hard to continuously improve project management and service quality, and make new contributions to the creation of Malaysia’s model GT unit.
　　At present, Johor project performance has entered the critical stage of 100-day countdown. In the follow-up construction, the Johor project department will continue to make efforts to carry forward its advantages, guard against arrogance and impatience, and through scientific and rigorous construction organization, keep improving the management means and realistic work style, implementing the project in a safe, satisfying and fast manner.
