Colombia C.I.MILPA S.A. and the company signed a preliminary design contract for coke furnace waste heat power generation project

  On November 15th, at 12:00 local time, the Colombian company C.I.MILPA S.A., signed the preliminary design contract of MILPA1 18MW coke-furnace waste heat power generation project with TEPC in Bogota. Miguel Antonio Parra, President of C.I.MILPA S.A. (hereinafter referred to as MILPA), Mr. Carlos Parra, General Manager, and Major Shareholders of the Company, as well as Gao Deyuan, General Manager of Engineering Consulting Company of CEEC TEPC, and Chang Hechun, General Manager of the Argentine Branch of Tianjin Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd. attended the meeting. The meeting was hosted by Mora, manager of MILPA Energy and Power Company.
  At the meeting, the president, Miguel Antonio Parra, said that “the project is the first project in Colombia to generate electricity from the waste heat of coke furnace’, which is a milestone in Colombian history. Mr. Carlos Parra, general manager of MILPA, also expressed his appreciation and recognition to Tianjin Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd. He hoped that Tianjin Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd. could optimize the technical scheme and project cost under the existing conditions of the project. While ensuring the smooth progress of the preliminary design contract performance, lays a good foundation for the signing of the next EPC contract.
  Gao Deyuan first expressed his gratitude to the clients for their full affirmation and recognition of our company, and he said that Tianjin Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd. will always adheres to the tenet of “Once our client, you shall be provided with whole life service”, and shows the elegant demeanor of TEPC on the land of Latin America. Meanwhile, he also hoped that the owners will fully trust Tianjin Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd. On the basis of the preliminary design contract, the two sides can carry out EPC general contracting service cooperation as soon as possible, and continue to expand cooperation in the field of waste heat power generation to achieve more development of the project.
  In the witness of relevant parties, Tianjin Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd. and MILPA officially signed the preliminary design contract of the MILPA 1 18MW coke furnace waste heat power generation project. Miguel Antonio Parra, president of MILPA, and Gao Deyuan, general manager of Engineering Consulting Company of Tianjin Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd. signed the contract on behalf of both companies. Carlos Parra, general manager of MILPA, and Chang Hechun, general manager of the Argentine Branch of Tianjin Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd. also signed the contract as witnesses.
  The Columbia MILPA1 18MW coke furnace waste heat power generation project developed by TEPC, located in Samaca, Boyaca, Colombia. The main configuration of this project is three waste heat boilers and one steam turbine generator. Using the technology of introducing coke furnace flue gas into the waste heat boiler and converting it into steam to promote turbine generator power generation. The owner currently plans to have a total installed capacity of 18MW for the MILPA1 project.The contract is planned to be signed in three stages: preliminary design stage, EPC general contracting stage and O&M stage. It is planned to formally sign the EPC general contract from June to July next year. As the industry leader in Colombia, MILPA has long been ranked among the top three in the export volume of coke trade in Colombia. It is an international first-line customer independently developed by our company in Latin America. This project is the first coke furnace waste heat power project in Colombia. It is also the first line of development project signed by our company in Latin America. It has profound significance for both companies.
