On 11 February, 2019(L-TM), China Energy Engineering Group Tianjin Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd (TEPC) was conferred the construction qualifications regarding civil works, maintenance and electrical engineering. This means, TEPC could conduct construction independently in Serbia from now on. Serbia Pancevo Project is a key milestone for TEPC to expand hi-end Europe market and participate in The Belt and Road Initiative. Serbia, different from other European countries, set much higher standard for construction qualifications and stricter qualification review process for local engineers. In order to honor the agreement of the project, TEPC prioritized construction qualification certificating, and managed to obtain the construction qualification for civil works on 20 December, 2018, faster than any other China enterprise in Serbia. What’s more, TEPC obtained the qualification for maintenance and qualification for electrical engineering on 31 January, 2019, laying a solid foundation for honoring the agreement.
