On 16:00, March 3, 2019, commencement ceremony of First-Stage EPC Project of MalPes Male Island Looped Network was launched at Hulhumale Station. The Ceremony was presented by Hassan Mooney, General Manager of MalPes State Electric Company Limited and Heads of Business Units, Liu Xing, Site Manager of Dongfang Electric Corporation, Zhang Yitian, Project Manager of Northwest Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd, and Xia Cemin, Project Manager of First-Stage Project of MalPes Male Island Looped Network of CEEC TEPC.

Hassan Mooney inspected the construction preparation matters and be satisfied with the personnel arrangement and incoming material. Besides, he called on each contractor to carry forward China enterprise virtues and take proactive and effective heatstroke prevention measures to ensure the health and safety of construction personnel. What’s more, he wished a full success of the project and novel contribution for MalPes electric cause. Xia Cemin made a detailed construction preparation report, in which he expressed that TEPC would enable the construction in an increasingly refined, organized, continuous and rapid way to impress the MalPes electricity industry with a TEPC brand of expertise and integrity!

First-Stage EPC Project of MalPes Male Island Looped Network, located MalPes, consists of 3 132 kV substation located respectively on Male, Airport Island and Hulhumale, a 132 kV cable line between the three substations mentioned above, a 11 kV cable line between the three substations and power plants nearby, such as MAN PH Power Plant, WAT PH Power Plant, Airport Island Power Plant, Hulhumale Power Plant, and an optical communication line along the 132 kV cable line.
