Signing Ceremony of Bangladesh Patuakhali 2X660MW Ultra-supercritical Coal-fired Power Plant EPC Project Launched in the Capital
  

On March 6, 2019, Bangladesh Patuakhali 2X660MW Ultra-supercritical Coal-fired Power Plant EPC Project was launched in Dacca, the Capital of Bangladesh. The ceremony was presented by MR.Abdus Sabur, President of NORINCO International-Rural Electrical Power Joint Venture, Wang Xinqin, Vice General Manager of NORINCO International and Representatives of contractors, including TEPC, China Huadian Engineering Co., Ltd and China Wanbao Engineering Corporation.

Ma Shujie, Vice General Manager of Overseas Engineering Company, TEPC, as the representative of China contractors, gave an address. First of all, he extended his appreciation for EPC Consortium’s trust and support. Secondly, he felt heavy responsibility on his shoulder as well as honors in his mind. The Consortium would join hands to deliver the project in a timely, quality way and make continuous contribution to the implementation of the Belt and Road initiative and development of Bangladesh electric power and energy industry.

The power plant project marks the highest power turbine project TEPC has ever taken. The project is located in Patuakhali County, South West Coastal Region, Bangladesh, with a time limit of 40+6 months. With the EPC project signed, TEPC infiltrated the Bangladesh market, laying a solid foundation for a long-term development.
