On August 18, local time, the turbine casing cover of the Pančevo project in Serbia, undertaken by Energy China TEPC, was successfully finished on the first try. Faced with many unfavorable factors such as the outbreak of the epidemic, hot weather operations, and multiple equipment defects, the first major milestone of the year was completed.
To ensure the smooth progress of this casing work, the project department organized and planned carefully in advance to check the various data before the capping, and strive to make every control index during the installation process reach the best condition. After 14 hours of hard work, the capping work of the steam turbine body was completed. It laid a solid foundation for the subsequent turbine sootblowing pipe and complete commissioning.
It is reported that the Serbian Pančevo combined cycle power plant project is jointly invested and developed by the Russian Petroleum and Gas Group and the Serbian Oil and Gas Group. It is planned to build a gas turbine combined cycle unit with a capacity of approximately 200 MW for its refining and chemical project. It is a key energy construction project in Serbia. The project is constructed in full compliance with European standards. In addition to satisfying the stable power supply for the refinery, the remaining power will be put into the market to meet the electricity demand of the country's residents. After completion, it will strongly promote the economic and social development of Serbia.
