On January 5th, CEEC Tianjin Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd. has won the A bidding section engineering of civil construction for Baihetan-JiangSu outputting end convertor station of Baihetan-Jiangsu ±800 kV extra-high voltage DC transmission project.
It is reported that the Baihetan-Jiangsu project starts in Butuo County, Liangshan Prefecture, Sichuan Province and ends in Changshu City, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province. It passes through 5 provinces (cities) of Sichuan, Chongqing, Hubei, Anhui and Jiangsu. The total length of the line is 2087 kilometers. The two convertor stations in Baihetan and Yucheng have been built with a project rated voltage of ±800 kV and a rated transmission capacity of 8 million kW, and the total investment is 30.7 billion yuan, which is the core project of the national “West-to-East Power Transmission”.
Tianjin Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd. is mainly responsible for A bidding section engineering of civil construction for Baihetan-Jiangsu outputting end convertor station. The construction scope is the civil construction within the convertor transformer square (excluding the Ji One high-end valve hall, auxiliary control building and related convertor transformer foundations, firewalls, etc.), outdoor fire-fighting facilities and fire-fighting pipelines of the whole station, domestic water of the whole station, equipment flushing water and other facilities, indoor lighting and maintenance of all buildings within the scope of construction.
