On February 19th local time, 4 sets of 600,000 kilowatt clean coal-fired project unit 3 generator stator and main transformers of Dubai Hassyan, designed by ENERGY CHINA Northeast Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd and contracted by Tianjin Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd., were in place, marking the large-scale lifting of Unit 3 of Dubai Hassyan project was successfully completed, and the installation of the four major pipelines was officially entered.
　　This project is the first clean coal-fired power station in the Middle East and the first power station in the world to achieve dual-fuel full-load power supply. It consists of 4 sets of 600,000 kW (net output) ultra-supercritical units with the full installed capacity of 2400 MW, possessing 100% output capacity of both firing and natural gas, which has fully meets the supply of different fuels and improves the adaptability of the power plant to fuels. After 4 units are put into operation, they can provide 20% of the power energy for Dubai. The project will be fully put into commercial operation in 2023.
