Energy China Tianjin Electric Power Construction Maintains Malaysia's Balingian Project and Synchronized

On April 10, two 300 MW generators in Balingian, Malaysia, which were maintained by Energy China TEPC, were synchronized for power generation. They were completed 20 days earlier than the original schedule. The generators were operating stably, and the status of each system and monitoring parameters were normal.
This overhaul is the first inspection overhaul since the unit was put into operation. The maintenance personnel of TEPC overcome the difficulties of the epidemic, ensure that the plan is reasonable, the process management is standardized, and the quality target is clear by planning and preparing ahead of time, formulating the maintenance list, and preparing the maintenance plan and work instructions. Unit 1 was connected to the grid for power generation on February 17 and Unit 2 on April 10.
It is reported that the project is the largest thermal power plant in Sarawak, Malaysia, accounting for nearly 30% of the electricity consumption in the entire Sarawak region. It is the largest circulating fluidized bed boiler coal-fired power plant in Malaysia and the largest thermal power plant in East Malaysia. The project can greatly improve the local power shortage situation, effectively promote local economic development, and improve the living standards of local people.
