Unit 3 of the Indonesian Meulaboh project successfully passed the 96-hour trial operation

At 16:00 on June 25, Unit 3 of Indonesia Meulaboh Project successfully passed 96 hours of full-load trial operation.

Located in the Naganlaya area of Aceh Province in the north of Sumatra, Indonesia, Indonesia Meulaboh coal-fired power generation project includes two 230 MW subcritical circulating fluidized bed coal-fired generating units, which is the first large-scale thermal power project undertaken in complete GC mode by Energy China TEPC in the Indonesian power market.

The project started at the end of 2019, and Unit 4 is expected to be put into commercial operation before September 30 this year. When the project is put into operation, the annual power generation capacity will be about 3.2 million megawatts, which will help improve Indonesia's regional power supply, alleviate the local electricity shortage situation, and promote local economic growth and social development.
