Recently, China Energy Engineering Group Tianjin Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd signed a 500 MW photovoltaic EPC project in Nisson, Kashkadaria province, Uzbekistan. The project is located 28 kilometers north of the Nisson district of Kashkadaria and about 52 kilometers from the state capital, Karsi. According to the current scheme, the DC side capacity of the project is 603.519 MW and the AC side capacity is 500 MW AC, with the capacity ratio about 1.2. The project plans to use model-575 solar cell peak power monocrystalline bifacial photovoltaic modules, flat single-axis tracking bracket, and 8800 kVA centralized box inverter integrated machine. A new 220 kV booster station shall be built. The project is signed and witnessed by the President of Uzbekistan at the Chinese Entrepreneurs' Roundtable at the 2023 Central Asia Summit, which is of great significance to promoting the high-quality joint construction of the "Belt and Road" and promoting the development of green cooperation between China and Uzbekistan.
