On August 21, Unit 4 of the Indonesia Melabeuh Project undertaken by Energy China TEPC was successfully connected to the grid for the first time, marking that the unit shall be available for commissioning and trial operation, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent smooth 96-hour full-load trial operation.

The project is located in Melabeuh County, Darussalant, Aceh Province, northern Sumatra, Indonesia, and plans to build two 225 MW subcritical units with a total installed capacity of 450 MW. When the project is put into operation, the annual power generation capacity will be about 3.2 million megawatts, which will help improve Indonesia's regional power supply, alleviate the local power shortage situation, and promote local economic growth and social development.
